Your First Visit
Things you should bring with you on your first visit:
> Contact Information
> Names and numbers of Businesses or Individuals involved and potential witnesses
> Written documentation of your injury and damage, such as:
> Copies of police reports or accident report medical records
> Bills from medical providers
> Insurance information
> Calendar with important dates such as date of injury, surgery and or treatment
> Insurance correspondence
What Comes Next
Be prepared to give a summary of what occurred. The lawyer will ask a host of questions to determine if you have a case. If so can you win in court? Will it go to court? Based on all of the information you will be informed if you should proceed with the case or not.
